Public Information

Play boldly. Build fairly.

These policies explain how Colosphereum handles player data, community conduct, and player-crafted arenas.

01

Privacy Policy

Colosphereum uses anonymous guest accounts. You do not need to provide a real name, email address, or phone number to play.

Information we process

  • A randomly generated guest player ID, a browser secret, and an optional one-time recovery credential. Recovery codes are stored by Colosphereum only as secure hashes.
  • Your chosen designation, sphere customization, weapon selection, saved arenas, arena backups, wins, and match state.
  • LinkLounge messages, message reports, blocks stored on your device, and temporary moderation restrictions used to operate the public 13+ chat.
  • Technical connection information such as IP address, browser request information, security events, and connection timing needed to run and protect multiplayer.
  • Information you voluntarily submit through the report form or Suggestion Box.

How information is used

We use this information to provide multiplayer matches, save arenas, maintain the leaderboard, synchronize gameplay, prevent cheating and abuse, diagnose failures, and protect the service.

Storage and sharing

Some preferences and credentials stay in browser storage. Player records and arenas may also be stored in Colosphereum's hosted database. Hosting and database providers process information only to operate the service. Colosphereum does not currently sell personal information or use third-party advertising trackers.

Retention and choices

LinkLounge messages disappear from live chat after approximately two minutes, and unreported messages are normally removed from active chat storage. Reported messages and necessary moderation records may be retained longer to protect the community. Other records are kept for as long as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the game, resolve reports, and meet legal obligations. Clearing browser data removes local copies but may not remove server records. Use the Privacy or Data Request category below to request access or deletion. We may need to verify the browser-held guest identity before acting on a request.

This policy will be updated before introducing materially different data collection, advertising, analytics, or account systems.

02

Terms of Use

By playing Colosphereum, you agree to these terms and the Community Rules. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or guardian must approve your use.

  • Use the game only for lawful, personal entertainment.
  • Do not cheat, automate play, manipulate network traffic, exploit defects, interfere with matches, evade enforcement, or attempt to access another player's data.
  • Do not upload or create content you do not have the right to use.
  • Do not disrupt the service, overload it, probe its security, or reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits.

Colosphereum may remove content, reset statistics, restrict access, or suspend players to protect the game and community. Features, balance, availability, and these terms may change as the game develops. The game is provided as available without a promise that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

03

Community & Naming Rules

Designations and arena names must be suitable for a general 13+ audience.

  • No hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, threatening, harassing, or exploitative language.
  • No real-world personal information, impersonation, targeted abuse, or encouragement of self-harm or violence.
  • No advertising, scams, spam, illegal content, or instructions for wrongdoing.
  • LinkLounge is public. Do not post addresses, schools, phone numbers, email addresses, meeting locations, account credentials, or other personal contact information.
  • No private messages, images, uploads, or links are supported in LinkLounge. Do not attempt to evade these safeguards.
  • No names that imitate official Colosphereum staff or attempt to evade text moderation.
  • Arenas must remain playable and must not use names or layouts to communicate prohibited content.

Report serious misconduct with the form below. Do not retaliate or publish another player's personal information.

04

Player-Crafted Arena License

You retain ownership of the original arena layouts and names you create. By saving or submitting an arena, you grant Colosphereum a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, technically adapt, moderate, and make the arena available to other players solely to operate, secure, promote, and improve Colosphereum.

This license allows ordinary technical actions such as backups, format changes, multiplayer transmission, screenshots, and gameplay recordings. It does not transfer ownership of your original creation to Colosphereum. The license ends when the arena is deleted, except for reasonable backup retention, legal or safety records, and material already used with your permission before deletion.

You confirm that your arena does not violate another person's rights and follows the Community Rules. Colosphereum may reject, modify for technical compatibility, or remove arenas that are unsafe, unlawful, infringing, broken, or unfair.

05

Minimum Age: 13+

Colosphereum is intended for players age 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the service if you are under 13. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian can submit a Privacy or Data Request below.

06

Contact & Report Abuse

Use this form for player misconduct, inappropriate names, cheating, unsafe arenas, technical security concerns, or privacy and data requests. Reports are reviewed by the Colosphereum operator.
